The Solution

The figure above provides an overview of the VOYAGER solution. The process begins with the use of TRANSPORTER Portable Data Terminal to collect the plant offline data. By scanning the barcodes on the machinery and equipment, the properties of the measuring points can be identified immediately.

Once the measuring point has been identified, the operator will be able to input the necessary values into the TRANSPORTER. This data logging process shall continue until all measuring points are logged.

The batch data will be uploaded from the TRANSPORTER via the RS232 port onto the system database in the server. These data will be synchronised with the existing database.

To make the most of these data collected, the ORION Offline Data Analysis Software has been specially designed to perform functions such as data analysis and reporting to fulfill the requirements of your organisation. This software is easily upgradeable to our Offline Performance Monitoring System (PMS8000) via our add-on module.
